Hi, I’m Xan. I am an avid journaler, aspirational book reader, intermittent baker, failed gardener, perennial sentimentalist, honorary Francophile, and perpetual memory keeper.

Despite a fine arts degree and background in the publishing world, it was actually the birth of my first son in 2016 that truly showed me the importance of photography. Bowie suffered a traumatic brain injury in utero and his first 24 months were a devastating blur as I learned to navigate a very unrecognizable entry into motherhood. I developed severe postpartum depression and anxiety and struggled to do most things most days, and sadly, failed to capture most of it.

Ten years and five pregnancies later (two more beautiful boys and three tragic losses), my focus has shifted to connecting with other mothers, supporting them in whatever season of motherhood they find themselves in, and helping them not end up with similar regrets.
